Project Overview
A recruitment video created to spotlight the CDAI program, built around interview-driven storytelling to give prospective students an authentic look into the experience.
The Process
Zach Johnson set up and filmed the interviews, then edited them together to shape the video's overall narrative. I was brought in to generate visuals that helped express and reinforce that narrative throughout. I was given creative freedom on the opener, which I built around a soundbite about CDAI to set the tone for the piece right from the start. As part of that process, I also took the opportunity to explore animation ideas in Cavalry, a program that was completely new to me at the time, pushing myself to experiment with a new toolset for the project.
