Background
From a young age I have always loved storytelling. It could have been the $5 bin movies my mom would randomly grab for me to watch or the silly youtube videos I stumbled upon afterschool, but I always felt myself obsessed with how those stories were created. That love and curiosity inspired me to pick up my slider phone in middle school and start recording stories of my own. I would record my friends doing random things on a Friday and spend all my weekends putting together these recap videos on Windows Movie Maker. This hobby grew when I got my first camera and I would write & record my own youtube videos, take photos for friend’s proms, and use family pics to make flyers for family parties.
I later made the decision to pursue my hobbies professionally by applying for film & television at Savannah College of Design. There I was on track working in post-production, but with each project and last minute director request, I found myself making animations in After Effects. From there I fell in love with motion graphics learning there was no limitations to the mediums you could use to tell your story. Now a days, I find myself using anything and everything I can get my hands on to tell my stories and I'm all the happier for it.

Outside of work I am constantly doing something! I love a mix of fps and cozy games, watching anime, reading new books, learning new dishes to cook, and journaling.
What are your greatest strengths?
Whether it’s in art or my life I am constantly determined to learn new things, it’s why I have so much experience in different mediums of art. I think the principles and rules of design apply through so many art mediums and I have such a need to learn about each of them that I am constantly working on strengthening my understanding of design, and this pushes me to see creative problems and give solutions from different angles.
What are your weaknessess?
A weakness I'm working on is my tunnel vision, spending too much time adjusting and refining on a smaller detail. But I have been learning through my experiences to step back and look for feedback. I try to now get more of an outside perspective and trusting in my peer's critiques.
What programs and tools do you use?
My bread and butter is Adobe Aftereffects! I am also proficient in a majority of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, but have found myself working mainly in Premiere Pro, Audition, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I lately have been learning more for Figma, Davinci Resolve, and Framer!
